Get to know Elizabeth Adams
As someone who is relatively new to the writing industry, I have quite a bit of experience under my belt in a variety of writing styles. I started my career as a web content writer for hibu (formerly YellowBook) and was professionally trained in web content and keyword SEO. I have an understanding of meta data formatting and keyword and benefit-rich SEO copy. Throughout my time at hibu, both as an in-house writer and freelancer, I wrote over 2,000 websites with original, unique, and business-specific copy.
Recently, I have moved on into marketing writing, branding, and blog articles for a variety of platforms. I have worked with numerous clients throughout the United States and Canada. I strive to provide the best content possible meeting guidelines, specifications, and requirements. My goal is to ensure a client is 100% satisfied with my work. My writing style is conversational and engaging; however, I can write in a more technical way if needed.
In addition to a career as a writer, I spent three years in education as a teacher. I worked alongside some great educators to discover new teaching methods, ways to interact with students, and ways to develop curriculum through many outlets. I specialized in using technology in the classroom to engage students in new and innovative ways. I spent a year teaching general English classes and contemporary literatures to high school seniors. Most recently, I was a literacy strategies teacher for reading and English ACT preparation.
